These beautiful and wonderful people are my grandparents, Marga and Herbert. This year they are married exactly sixty years. A big family is following...with five children, seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. And both of you are in all of us.

Paris - süper mega cuul(e) =)
Foto: Jean Claude Gautrand
Jean-Baptiste Greuze (1725-1805): L'Oiseau mort (détail). 1800. 68x55cm. Louvre, Paris.
Woher kommen denn
unsere Sprachen?
beobachten?

When I come to a strange place, I make comparisons. I compare this place with my place I live in, my home, with Germany. I see the city in its architecture and structure, I see the people and all what they represent: appearance, language, dress, sound, music, art ... the list can be endless.
Paris is a well known and also new world where you're surrounded by these so-beautiful-sounding language and just all what you can see. It's similar yet different and there are a many questions in my mind. You're surrounded by all these French-speaking people. Where are our languages from? Why does the language has ever developed? Paris is a proud city and the french are proud people. How proud are the french? Why is Paris so important to France? How proud are the germans of Berlin? Why are'nt we so proud of our country like the french?
Why is it fun to watch things? If I see something strange, I compare with the known. The interest in history is there and retold. Past, present and future join hands. Germany is beautiful. France also.

Der Frühling ist da! // Spring is here!
Hoffentlich.)

I only have a few shoes
but I love every pair of them. So I wear them till they are
absolutely broken. Some reveal themselves over time as true friends going with me at every turn. So this pair is one of them, bought
three years ago, for 35 €, very cheap. Actually, I wanted those
made of leather, but I've decided to go for expensive Asics, highly reliable (my third pair, but I wear it all for several
years). A short time later I still saw these and than I had two pairs of
shoes, for the price of one. Unfortunately, no
leather, but comfortable, and now with a lot of big holes. I have to
throw them away. So a last picture. Thanks for the great time!
(Yesterday, in the shoe store I got the same shoes in a slightly
different colour or 20 €, the last of its kind, and then even in
my size, a new love. Hopefully.)
